Before / After School & Holiday Club
At our Before and After School Club we service three local primary schools; Gorse Hall, St Peter's and St Paul's. Children wear hi-vis jackets when walking to school, we talk about road safety on our walks. So children are gaining road safety awareness and also getting some exercise.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast club provides a high quality service meeting the needs of both parents/carers whilst allowing children the opportunity to have a healthy nutritious start to the day and the chance to engage in activities, relax and have fun before the start of the school day.
Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am with breakfast being served throughout the session.
Children can enjoy quiet time which includes board games,drawing ,lego, top trumps and a variety of other games or participate in a friendly physical games session to wake their bodies and mind up ready for a day of learning.
Breakfast club children are offered a nutritional breakfast of cereals, yoghurts, toast, seasonal fruit and juice.
After School Club
After school club has a relaxed feel and we fully appreciate that children may be tired at the end of the school day and may simply want to ‘chill out’ during their time with us. Children are encouraged to choose activities they wish to take part in and the emphasis is very much on supervised free play.
After school club children are offered a 2 course light tea which varies each day and may include sandwiches, hot dogs, pasta bakes, jacket potatos and make your own wraps along with juice or water.
Holiday Club
Our holiday club is for children aged 5 -11 years and children from all schools are welcome to attend.
We have organised activities and crafts on a daily basis and for the children who would rather have their own free time play there are lots to choose from; ranging from board games, sports, team games, and outdoor play in our outdoor play area.
